These terms govern your use of the Blippo barcode and QR scanner app ("Blippo", "the app", "we"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

The app

Blippo lets you scan barcodes and QR codes, look up product information via Open Food Facts, generate your own QR codes (links, text, email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, Zoom, Wi-Fi, contact cards, calendar events, and more), and keep a local, searchable history of your scans and codes. The app has no account system and no backend server — see our Privacy Policy for details on what stays on your device.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app's normal operation.
• Use the app to create QR codes or content intended to mislead, harm, or defraud others.

Third-party data

Product lookups are provided by Open Food Facts, an independent, third-party database. We don't control the accuracy or completeness of that data and aren't responsible for it.

App Lock

Blippo can be locked behind your device's Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode. This feature relies entirely on your device's own operating system — we're not responsible for issues caused by your device's biometric hardware or settings, and we can't help you unlock the app if you forget your device passcode.

Advertising

Blippo is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. See our Privacy Policy for how ad consent works.

No warranty

Blippo is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that scan results or product information will always be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
